Today was a nightmare. But It ended with a sweet dream instead. Having a test for POE on 6pm wasn't enough, I had an appointment for my NS Body-check up on the same day as my test. Luckily I had a friend (Yu Wen) who told me to go for the 8am slot. Everything went on smoothly (Including the Blood Test) and I was a freeman when the clock strike 11:35am.

Yes all these happenings, I can't wait to share and write them down but the most important thing that I felt today was Dad's love. He waited for me throughout the 3 and 1/2 hours in the carpark and wandering around. He woke up as early as 5am even though he didn't sleep well the night before just because he agreed on fetching me to CMPB. Thank God everything went on so well.

We had an early lunch at the hawker centre in Telok Blangah. I had Lor Mee while Dad had some Indian rice. I had a cup of nice coffee and headed towards school.

The test was average and I am very glad that everything went so well that I couldn't even dream of.

And it's time to reward myself with a good sleep! Thanks God, Thanks Dad!

Internship has come to an end and this is a new start of journey for my last sem in Poly. I'm sure gonna miss David, Alissa, Shirley, Serena. Though this is only a short period of 3 months, it is definitely a memorable stay there.

Looking at the near future, my army life is going to start very soon. Wonder how will it be like when I'm in it!

All these things aside, Christmas is coming. I should be happy right cause it also means that my Birthday is coming soon, too. But I don't feel this way; Maybe I need an adrenaline rush and I don't know where and how I can get it.

The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to. 'It's the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas. She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her.' I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry. But he replied to me sadly. 'No, Santa Claus can't bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there.' His eyes were so sad while saying this, 'My Sister has gone to be with God.

Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.'' My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said, 'I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall.' Then he showed me a very nice photo of himself. He was laughing. He then told me 'I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won't forget me.' 'I love my mommy and I wish she didn't have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister.' Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly. I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. 'Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll!'' OK' he said, 'I hope I do have enough.' I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money.

The little boy said, 'Thank you God for giving me enough money!' Then he looked at me and added, 'I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me!'' 'I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn't dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose.'' 'My mommy loves white roses.' A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket. I finished my shopping in a totally different state of mind from when I started. I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind.

Then I remembered a local newspaper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl. The little girl died right away and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy? Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the newspaper that the young woman had passed away.

I couldn't stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was for people to see and make last wishes before her burial. She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest. I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed forever. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine, and in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him."

Results are out, surprisingly I got C for Internation Finance(which I was quite confident about it) and I got B for Communication Skills: ) and B for Consumer Banking(The subject that I don't even understand anything about it)! But my overall results were quite expected as I think I had did quite well. Although they are nothing much as compared to the grades my other friends have, but I can see that the effort that I've made had paid off. Lets jia you for the next semester, Jackie!

Working at pattonair was fun. We did off-site stock picking at Sesco for the first day, it was my first time seeing the airplane turbines and other sophisticated component of the aircraft engine. Fortunately Yen Ling asked us back to clear up some rubbish(7Years-old stocks) they were from France and Italy but they were more dusty than anything I ever seen.
Today is our last day of work(Third day), felt quite relief( ; because we have managed to clear the whole chunk(15boxes of 1000 different codes and sizes trays). I finally felt the power of motivation when you work with the people will mpact in your life. And I hope this friendship with them goes on like there's no tomorrow.

I'm leaving for Thailand this coming April. Hopefully this time my trip will succeed!

Exams are over. at last.
Spending my first week of holiday gambling with zg, botak, lian, jon. I couldn't believe it myself, to some extent I even feel that it's scary. It's so easy to get hooked up to it and when you start to realize, it's already too late.

Further on it, Lian is having his exams. Today is his first quiz paper and tomorrow he'll be taking another exam. 75mins paper, so weird right the timing.. but I hope it'll be difficult for the rest and easy as peanut for lian:) Next coming Monday will be his last paper and hurray, we can all enjoy our holidays together.

Back to Singapore. It was fun staying at Msia, finally-after all I won few rounds of game. ha ha.
The last day was special, Tiger bought be back to Singapore and visited his relatives at Nasim Road. They were hell rich, but were also polite and warming.
Tasted the best white wine for my first time with the crystal-like ice on top of it.
And the house owner's daughters were like fairy tale characters, talented in art with her oil paintings around her house, dedicate art pieces which I can't differentiate them from other famous artist work.
They were friendly too, with charming smile, however too demure and rich to even dream of.
They spoke English that I couldn't understand, isn't that funny? Heard from Tiger that they just came back from states.

Cool cool, so now I am here writting all these down before I get some memory decay which is soon to be.
Stressing about exams in a week's time, yet I'm still taking my own sweet time surfing the net.
Time to wake up jackie, start doing your tutorials like you always did, and continue having fun with my best friend, lian and Co.

This little girl grows up every now and then.
She always look different every time I see her ha ha.. But she's everlasting adorable.

I went to her graduation ceremony last Saturday, I was kind of late because I totally forgotten about it. Thank God, I wasn't that late to miss her performance. She sang praises to God in the church, dance beautifully like a Cinderella in her glass shoes.
Hope every thing goes well in her life, there are many more things out there for you to venture, be it ups and downs I'll be by your side.
Really do hope that she still remembers me, although we don't meet up that often anymore.
There are mountains taller than Mount Everest for you to conquer, cause for who you are and for what I've seen the potential in this little girl.

Was coming back home thinking of how to spend my money. Whether to return it to my uncle first or change my seats, get a new suspension . . transition lens and so many more WANTS-

But when I get home, I saw that lying on the living room's sofa. The second thing I notice, what mum applying medicine on his leg.
My had to swallow my saliva. My heart felt like it had encounted a free fall, the feeling was terrible.
Mum said it was just Old man's sickness. People grow old, it is part and parcels of life.

I couldn't understand what she's saying, how could she made those words so simple to speak. She must have been through all these pains as well.

Dad started speaking, "I'm not worried about these acheing legs nor my falling eye sight, it's my cough that I'm really worried about".
Yea.. Dad always work at places with people smoking, he doesn't smoke but it's all those selfish people who doesn't know to keep their sins to themselves.

As he speaks I felt that my legs and stucked on the ground, I can't move them, neither could I stare away as mum apply medicine on those aching legs of Dad.

It hurts me even more because Dad had always been a very strong person in my mind.
He doesn't fall sick easily, doesn't need a bolster to sleep or a blanket even when it's in December.
He exercise regularly, He Jogs twice every week be rain or shine; for as long as I can remember.

My family-tree have a history of lungs infection. My Grandpa past away because of lung cancer, and my Uncle past away because of throat cancer.

I'm just confused. It is when all my WANTS are gone, maybe temporary but as clear as for now I'm just concerned about taking of my burden on them.

My studies, I need to be consistent. If you fail to plan, you'll plan to fail.
And I guess I really, really need to save up some C.A. for future use.

Catching up with this diary soon as I'm going to take a rest for a newer day to come when the Sun rises.

To be frank to myself. this month of August isn't an easy month after all. Thank God it's ending soon.

Finally I'm done with my french speaking test. Jerome was really very, very lenient and nice to me. So kind of him to speak so slowly and ask me questions that I can understand. Hopefully I am able to pass french overall as a Cds. U-art was also a major relief, finally done with my prints and overall for the subject, I got a 53.5 marks. You can consider it as an A for me because I never liked art since the day I was born. But U-art was really fun, I had a lot of fun making the mask with chester and another malay guy. Although the visual journal thing was kind of rush, but I really appreciate the feedbacks that the teacher wrote to me. Last but not least the prints is frustrating, it's not easy to make a nice print and whenever I see a print in the future, I will surely respect it.

Most things are done, C for business finance now( Major cock-up), will be getting back our HRM course work tomorrow.. and MBS I really don't know what is happening to me. Hopefully I won't repeat any modules for the next semester if not I really don't know how to tell mum or dad.

Saw xin yu and veng wai today when I went back to my art class.. really miss those days whereby we were still in the same class..

Hao, Jun and friends accompanied me to look for my bike today.
I have just learnt that, looking for bike is just like finding a friend.
I always thought that appearance was so important that I neglected the most important factor. But it's not too late to realise it.

It is easy to find some thing that looks good, but what is most important is it's interior.

Just like making friends, I often find people who looks better than me.. but now I know that what is truely hard to find is some one who really express his/her friendship to you through the heart.

Something that comes from within. And It can be heart-felt.
